Public Health Logistics Advisor
TITLE: Public Health Logistics Advisor (1 Open Position)
REPORTS TO: Senior Public Health Logistics Advisor
LOCATION: Position based in Country Office, Dar es Salaam
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required
Higher qualification in Pharmacy, Medical Doctor or other Public Health professions with
experience in HIV/AIDS and clinical laboratory services.
Experience working with Malaria and Family Planning commodities and programs preferred.
Experience in logistics/supply chain management and or public health commodities
management desirable.
Experience working with the Government of Tanzania and other NGO’s preferred.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Ability to work in a team to develop strategies and manage implementation of projects.
Ability to work independently.
Previous work experience with USAID‐funded projects desirable.
Proficiency in common computer packages (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) relevant to the work.
Team player.
Ability to travel for an extended period of time in country to support technical activities.
Ability to travel internationally to attend trainings and conferences as needed.
