Africa is currently seeking to appoint a Human Resource Assistant
Reports to:
Human Resource Superintendent
KEY RESULT AREAS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·
Handle Buzwagi employees’ personal filing system;
·
Handle compiling, coordinating and monitoring
submission of all statutory monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
· Handle IR and Disciplinary issues as HR
representative with the highest sense of confidentiality and ethics;
·
Handle recruitment of Tanzanian staff with regards
to posting advertisements, screening and interviewing with the hiring
manager;
·
To meet operational requirements the occupant of
this position, if qualified, may be required to provide relief in positions
within the department;
·
Labour planning and labour Management
PROFESSIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL DETAILS
·
Diploma in Human resource management or related
Social Sciences Subject
·
Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Office
suit and other IT programs.
·
A strong commitment to the position, working
independently and the ability to work proactively as a
Team member.
·
Demonstrated ability to practice Barrick Core
Values.
·
Ability to work unsupervised in a productive and
efficient manner.
·
Be pro-active in all aspects of operational safety
and work as a team member within the department and across.
·
Strong written & verbal communication skills,
in English and Swahili.
·
Strong conceptual thinking, decisiveness and
influencing skills.
·
Exemplary ethical and professional behaviour.
·
Excellent Organizational Skills.
·
Extensive experience in Microsoft Office suits
including Words, Excel and PowerPoint.
·
High level interpersonal skills.
·
Ability to take initiative, self-directed,
creativity.
